Our preschool through 6th grade students got their hands dirty planting radishes, peas, and spinach—with a big thanks to Juan and his helpers from the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension for their help.
We can’t wait to see our garden grow!

My name is Sarah Coelho and this will be my 16th year teaching elementary school. I am excited to be teaching 4th grade at Mount Turnbull Elementary this year! I am married to my high school sweetheart of 25 years, and we have two children, three dogs, two guinea pigs, and fish! When I am not caring for children or animals, I like to read, bake, craft, and listen to music. I am looking forward to a productive and fun school year!

My name is Liza Stanley. I will be working as a Reading Specialist at Mt Turnbull Elementary. I taught and worked at Fort Thomas for 9 years before and now returning. I am looking forward to working with the younger grades this school year. My husband and I have been married for 17 years and we have 3 kids. They attend Fort Thomas schools, as a freshman, a 7th grader and a 1st grader. We are looking forward to a great school year! Go Apaches!
