BOTH FTE & MTE 2nd Grade Field Trip
The kids all had so much fun going to Lamb and Vine Farms in Eden:)They learned about the life cycle of bees and how they are important to farms. Students also got to enjoy a corn maze, sunflower maze, and other fun activities. Thank you Lamb and Vine Farms for helping educate our students with fun hands on learning experiences!

MTE Families :)
-Paint and Permanent Markers are not allowed, we have had additional unwanted writing showing up on school property
-Koolaid Packets need to stay home, no trick or treating at Mount Turnbull Elementary yet
*FROM TODAY FORWARD-no personal individual pencil sharpeners are allowed on our school site, all students were informed for all grade levels...
If they need to sharpen pencils, we will take care of it in the classroom. There is a safety concern when the small razor blades can become free of the plastic casing and we are asking our school community to help support us for the welfare of all our students.
>Please do not send any more of these materials to school with your children, students will be asked to do a quarterly desk/backpack cleaning this week to clear out any unnecessary items

MTE Little Leader Highlights:)
-Congratulations to 5th grade for spelling PERFECT! This is their 3rd time getting snow cones. Good job coming to school everyday!
-Shout out to 6th graders doing a great job leading the pledge for the whole school today!
-Our student ran store has been a hit with 5th & 6th graders leading by examples!
The student-led incentive school store helps further develop our leadership skills such as responsibility, teamwork, and communication. Students will be learning how to manage inventory, handle “money” accurately, and work with others to keep the store organized and successful. By solving problems, listening to feedback, and creating new ideas to improve the store, the kids will strengthen their abilities to lead, make decisions, and serve others effectively.

✅ All Clear!
Thank you for your cooperation during today’s lockdown drill. Everything went smoothly, and students and staff did an excellent job following safety procedures. We’re grateful for your support in helping us keep our school community safe and prepared! 💙🏫

Mt. Turnbull Elementary School will be having a lockdown drill on Wednesday, October 8th during the school day. This is just a practice to help our students and staff stay prepared and safe in case of an emergency.
Teachers will talk to students beforehand so they know it’s only a drill. Everything will be calm, quick, and age-appropriate.
Thanks for your support in keeping our school safe! 💙 If you have any questions, feel free to call the office at (928) 475-2020.
