Third grade took a trip outside to help learn more about perimeter and area. Our goal was to find 3 things and measure them using a ruler. It also tied in measurements with the shapes being measured in centimeters, inches, and feet!

We just want to remind Parents/Guardians tomorrow is the Kinder Promotion at 8:30 am to 9:30 am then the Award Ceremony for 1st thru 6th grade at 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The San Carlos Wellness Center’s Native Connections program would like to thank the parents of the MTE Boys Drumming Group, as well as the Mt. Turnbull Elementary School, for supporting these young students of higher education, culture, and traditional knowledge. We really enjoyed the boys in the drum group. They bonded in friendship and good will. They have the deepest interest to learn songs of their ancestors. The group photo was taken on Friday, May 5, at the Dream Manor in Globe, where they were invited to open with a blessing song for the San Carlos Apache Tribe’s TANF Program’s 15th Anniversary Celebration. Dear Parents, if your son is part of the MTE boys drum group, there will be an after-school drum group today, Tuesday, May 2, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at the Mt. Turnbull Elementary school campus.
The boys will be transported home by the San Carlos Wellness Center van after the drum group.
The MTE Drum Group were invited to sing a song at the 15th Anniversary TANF Celebration at Dream Manor in Globe, Arizona. Pickup from home (on Friday, May 5, 2023) will start at 7:30 am, and return time is at 1:00 pm.

We want to remind all parents/guardians, we are having FTUSD 2023-24 School Readiness tomorrow at the Fort Thomas high school at 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Please bring your documents for Preschool and Kindergarten Round-Up. Documents needed will be Birth Certificates, Immunization records, CIB, Proof of Residency(Valid Arizona Driver's license/Identification Card or recent utility bill.
