Mt. Turnbull Elementary We would like to welcome back Mrs. LaDawn Smith, our 5th grade teacher. I'm LaDawn Smith. I moved from Louisiana to the Gila Valley in 2017. I have been a teacher for five years. This will be my fourth year teaching 5th grade at MTE. I have 5 kids and 5 bonus kids. I love traveling, sports, music, and anything outdoors. I really enjoy teaching and plan to stay in the Ft. Thomas school district until retirement.

Mt. Turnbull Elementary We would like to welcome Mr. Brendon Bryant, our new 3rd grade teacher. Hello, my name is Mr. Bryant and I am excited to be the 3rd grade teacher at Mt. Turnbull Elementary School! I taught in Willcox and Pima before coming to Bylas. I grew up in St. David, Arizona, and I now live in Pima, Arizona with my wife, my son, and my mother. One random fact about me is that I can speak a language called Hungarian because I lived in the country of Hungary for two years. I love reading, maps, hiking, playing the piano, and I am so grateful for this new opportunity to teach at Mt. Turnbull. 3rd grade is a big year, and I especially want students to learn to love to read and to become fluent with math basics. Learning can be a lot of fun!

Mt. Turnbull Elementary Back to School Registration Wednesday, July 10th 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at Mt. Turnbull Academy. If you have any questions you can call the office. at 928-475-2020 Just a reminder when filling out forms please check for GREEN check marks. That means the form is complete

Mt. Turnbull Elementary Preschool Enrollment . Preschool starts August 6, 2024. We will be at Mt. Turnbull Academy Wednesday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. If you have any questions please call the office at 928-475-2020

Mt. Turnbull Elementary Registration is now open for the 2024-2025 school year. For returning students, log in to your parent portal and complete the assigned forms. For new to the District students(never enrolled/attended an FTUSD school) please fill out the Pre-Registration forms. Once completed one of the school offices will contact you to set up a parent account to complete the registration. If you have any questions please call the office at 928-475-2020. If they have not completed the registration paperwork by July 15th their seat will become available to another student. If you have any questions please call the office or stop by. I am here Monday - Thursday 7 am to 4 pm.

Mt. Turnbull Elementary May 13th will be MTE's Field Day for all students Kinder Promotion May 14th at 9:00 am Award Ceremony will follow at 10:00 am Students will be allowed to leave after programs but will need to be checked out in the office May 15th we will be having our First Responders Day, all students will be released at 12:00 pm May 16th will be the last day of school, all students will be released at 12:00 pm

Mt Turnbull Elementary Air Ventures came to visit. The students were all excited to see the hot air balloons. Some students walked inside of them. We even had a couple of teachers get in the basket.

Mt Turnbull Elementary Just wanted to remind all Parents/Guardians please do NOT send your kindergarteners & preschoolers to school on May 2nd. We will be having our Roundup starting at 9:00 am to 11:15 am.
